Announcing Alchemy People Solutions: A New Chapter, A Deeper Purpose

Fresh Starts.

The start of a new year always invites reflection, on what’s been shed, what’s been learned, and what’s ready to take shape next.

For me, this moment feels like more than a calendar turning. It feels like a true beginning.

For most of my life, I’ve been drawn to understanding people, why they shine, why they shrink, and what it takes for someone to feel like they truly belong. That curiosity was born from my own story: years of struggling with self-confidence, body image, and the belief that I had to earn my place by overachieving, observing, pleasing, and adapting.

I became hyper-attuned to people, what made them feel seen, what made them withdraw, what helped them thrive.

Some call that people-pleasing.

I called it collecting data. Strategic survival.

Along the way, parts of me got lost. But what I never lost was the instinct to protect the people the world doesn’t always protect. My parents used to say I “attracted the wounded birds.” In friendships, at work, and in life, I naturally took on the role of supporter, helping people see their strengths, especially when systems or circumstances made that hard.

I didn’t choose HR. HR chose me.

In my twenties, while working in finance and operations, I was given the opportunity to build something from the ground up, payroll, benefits, and eventually the full spectrum of HR. By 30, I was a divorced mom, deep in what I now call my “trooper years”, shouldering a lot, giving a lot, learning a lot.

And through it all, one truth became unmistakably clear:

When people are supported, trusted, and given space to bring their strengths forward, they thrive—and organizations thrive with them.

That belief has guided every role I’ve held over the past decade. And today, it becomes the foundation of my next chapter.

Introducing Alchemy People Solutions

I’m thrilled to officially announce the launch of Alchemy People Solutions, my HR consulting practice dedicated to helping mission-driven companies transform the way they support their people.

The name Alchemy is intentional. Alchemy is the practice of transformation, taking what already exists and refining it into something more aligned, more powerful, more true to its purpose. That is exactly how I approach people strategy.

Organizations struggle when systems grow misaligned, when leadership capacity is stretched thin, when people practices no longer support the humans doing the work. My role isn’t to “fix” people, it’s to help transform the structures around them so people can do their best work and organizations can fulfill their mission sustainably.

I specialize in strategic HR, not transactional tasks, but the work that elevates people strategy, aligns it with values, and creates environments where humans can be their full, capable selves. I partner with small and mid-sized nonprofits to:

  • Build equitable, people-centered systems

  • Strengthen leadership and team capacity

  • Design processes that create clarity, dignity, and opportunity

  • Align talent strategy with mission and long-term goals

This is not about tearing everything down and starting over. It’s about honoring what’s already there—and intentionally refining it into something stronger.

To me, this isn’t just consulting.

It’s the work I’ve been preparing for my entire life.

Why This Work Matters (and Why I’m All In)

What makes me authentic in this space is simple: this work is not just my profession; it’s my personal mission.

I’ve lived the reality of what happens when systems fail people, and I’ve witnessed the profound impact of systems that lift people up. I’ve spent my life noticing inequities, advocating for fairness, and helping people recognize the potential they don’t always see in themselves.

My approach blends strategy, operations, customer service, and HR, shaped by a lifetime of observing human behavior. But at its core, it’s grounded in something deeper:

Human dignity.

Growth.

Possibility.

Alchemy happens when intention meets design and when values are translated into policies, practices, and leadership behaviors that people can actually feel. That’s the work I’m here to do: help organizations move from surviving to sustaining, from burnout to balance, from good intentions to meaningful impact.

Expanding My Work: Professional Coaching (Now Accepting 3–5 Clients)

As part of this new chapter, I’m also expanding into professional coaching, an offering that feels like a natural evolution of who I am and how I’ve always worked with people.

I’m currently completing my formal coaching training and certification, and I’m opening space for a small cohort of 3–5 coaching clients beginning in the new year.

If you’re a leader, a mission-driven professional, or someone standing at a crossroads, seeking clarity, confidence, or alignment, I’d love to support you. Coaching with me is grounded in deep listening, real-world experience, practical strategy, and a belief in your capacity to grow, even when you can’t yet see the path forward.

Looking Ahead

Launching Alchemy People Solutions isn’t just starting a business. It’s stepping fully into the work I was meant to do, with integrity and heart.

  • If you’re a business leader who wants HR that’s strategic, values-aligned, and people-first…

  • If you’re a professional looking for a coach who understands both the weight you carry and the potential you hold…

  • If you believe that people are the center of every mission…

I’d love to connect.

Here’s to building workspaces where people don’t just survive— they transform.
